Chris Bannon
Senior Pastor
Before becoming the founding pastor of THE COMMONS, Chris served on staff with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship - first as campus staff at the University of Rhode Island, then as Area Director for the state of NH - as well as serving several years on the pastoral staff of Dover Baptist Church in Dover, NH.
He is passionate about the preaching and teaching of Scripture, Christian formation, fly fishing, good books and good barbecue. When not in the pulpit or otherwise disturbing the peace, he can usually be found spending time with family and friends somewhere in the out-of-doors.

Leah Roth
Associate Pastor
Following years of community outreach ministry in the city of Dover, NH, Leah and her family accepted the call to become founding members of THE COMMONS in Rochester, NH. From the outset, over the years she has served in various pastoral and organizational capacities - discipleship, outreach, and prayer leadership - as THE COMMONS has grown from the smallest seed of prayer and conversation into an established community of faith.
Her family includes her husband Jon, a dedicated and talented music teacher, and their eight (yes, eight) children ranging in age from 12 years to 40 years. They are also blessed with six grandchildren. Her passions include serving Jesus, reading, camping, kayaking, coffee, and cooking. Leah serves The Commons in a bi-vocational capacity while working as a recruiter for a home care agency. She looks forward to furthering THE COMMONS’ mission of making whole-hearted followers of Jesus..

Robb Goodell
Ministry development director
Robb is a Florida transplant to New England by way of Texas and lives with his wife Rebecca in Rochester.
Robb joined The Commons in 2018 and currently serves as Ministry Development Director, assisting in church communications, missional strategy, and coordination and development of The Commons’ various ministry efforts. He also oversees and coordinates teaching and discipleship for RefugeYM, a youth ministry cooperative under the authority of The Commons ECC.
